Flamenco Technical Details

Flamenco is written using only open source software: the programming language is Python, and we make use of the WebWare web application toolkit, also written in Python. The database backend is MySQL, and the text indexer is Lucene (written in Java). We plan to release the software in some form in December 2004. Please send mail to flamenco@sims.berkeley.edu if you would like to be put on a notification list for when the software becomes available.
